Today we can take due pride in the overall changes in the school atmosphere. This year, 2008-2009, our School already graded up to Class-X.  There are 886 students, 40 teachers and 13 non-teaching staff active in the compound. We have probably not met all the hopes and aspirations of our policy changes that took place from the year 1996.  But we have not given up the challenges.

We will continue to be just to the poor.  About 150 students are on scholarship. We are also giving partial scholarship help to 8 poor students who study in other schools in the neighbourhood. There are a good number of poor students (For the academic year 2008-09) who will need financial help and we are looking for funds for scholarship.  We are faced with the need of finding more means to accommodate a higher percentage of poor students in the school if we are serious about a Jesuit education that is just, given the economic and literacy situation of the country.  According to the National census, the literacy rate of the country may come up to 49% in which the percentage of the poor being educated is minimal.
